Sedekah / Shadaqah

Sedekah Singapore

Shadaqoh is a sincere gift as proof of obedience to God s.w.t. Sedekah cannot be forced but it is born of the heart to give based on that person's ability.
The meaning of sadaqoh in Islam is very widespread. Shadaqah is not only in the form of things, but can be done with help, teaching knowledge, smiling, giving a living, remembering and so on. The Prophet Muhammad s.a.w said;
"You remove stones, thorns and bones from the middle of the road that is a charity for you."
Narrated by al-Bukhaari
In fact, there is much recompense for the charity- Among them;
  • – Eliminating Sin And give charity, and take away all the sins and wrongs of the past. However, first, all sins must be regretted with nasuha repentance not to repeat them again.
His Majesty said:
"The charity can take away sin as the water extinguishes the fire"
Narrated by al-Tirmidhi
  •  – Breaking Away From Hell
The Prophet s.a.w said:
"Give charity, for it is a separation from the Fire."
In addition, even a small amount of charity can prevent you from the fire. His Majesty's words again;
"Keep yourselves away from the Fire even if it is only with a grain of date-palms."
  • – Multiplied Reward
Charity is also a deed that Allah favors besides being a good deed that rewards anyone who gives charity. Allah says what he means:
"The likeness of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a grain that grows seven strands, and every strand is a hundred grains, and Allah doubles down on whom He wills, and Allah is All-Sufficient, All-Knowing."
Surah al-Baqarah:261
  • – Getting Through Siratal Mustaqim Bridge Quickly
Those who give charity will be able to get through Siratal Mustaqim easier. So do not be stingy because your charity deeds will be your help at the end of the day.
  • – Extinguishing the Heat of the Grave
The Prophet s.a.w said:
Verily, charity will extinguish the heat of the grave for its inhabitants, and the believers will shelter under the shadow of charity."
Hadith narrated at-Thabrani
  •  – Getting Shade In the Hereafter for Those who give charity will be among those who will be the shade of Allah in the Hereafter.
However, it must be those who are sincere who do not give it for the purpose of pointing or ripples.
"A man who has a charity with his right hand, so he hides his deeds until his left hand does not know what his right hand is giving."
Narrated by al-Bukhaari
  • – Put Into Heaven Without Reckoning And Torture
Allah will open the gates of heaven to those who give charity because of Him. As long as the intention of charity is sincere and does not aim badly or point at it.
  • – Increase Sustenance and Wealth
And do not worry about reducing the provision for giving charity to others. Verily, with charity will expand and open the door of sustenance to us. His Majesty's words;
"There will be no diminished provision for the charity, except increased, increased and increased."
  • – Practice That Does Not Break To Death
Charity is also a practice whose reward lasts until death. It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah r.a, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
"When Adam's offspring die, all his deeds are cut off, except three things: the charity of jariah, the son who asks forgiveness for him (his mother and father) and the useful knowledge afterwards."
  • – Extend Lifespan
It is a beautiful and miraculous practice of giving charity so that the Prophet s.a.w says that by giving charity can extend the life of the charity giver.
"Verily, the charity of the Muslim can increase its lifespan, can prevent bad death, Allah will remove from it the arrogance, the disbelief, and the pride of the self."
Hadith narrated by Thabrani
  • – Treating Disease
And if you are in charity, you will not be wronged. But all that is by the permission of God s.w.t. He said: 'I'm not going to do it.
"Give the sick among you charity."
  • – Avoid All Reinforcements And Dangers
Charity is also a repellent, a calamity, and a evil against the giver of charity.
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
"Hasten to give charity. For calamity and disaster cannot precede charity."
Indeed, the reward that Allah s.w.t gives to human rights
